<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sizer capable of shortening a measurement time, preventing a user from becoming tired easily, and providing usability. <P>SOLUTION: A sizer 1 includes: a pair of holding bodies 5, 6 where contacts 52, 62 to have contact with a measured object W are respectively arranged on one end sides and holding parts 53, 63 are respectively arranged on the other end sides; a first rotation shaft 7A for relatively rotating the pair of holding bodies 5, 6; an angle detection device 8 for detecting the relative rotation angle of the pair of holding bodies 5, 6; and a calculation device 2 for calculating the size of the measured object W on the basis of the rotation angle. The calculation device 2 calculates the size of the measured object W with the use of proportionality between the intercentral length of the contacts 52, 62 and the third-order approximate curve of a sine function based on the rotation angle. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
