The invention discloses a valve arrangement (70) adapted for connection to a fluid supply piping system (35, 72) having a fluid supply pressure level (PF60:1) for supplying a first fluid and adapted for connection to a fluid outfeed conduit (74, 40). The valve arrangement (70) is adapted to provide protection against a reflux of a first fluid from the outfeed conduit when the pressure level (PF60:1) in the fluid supply piping system (35, 72) suddenly drops. The valve arrangement (70) comprises a housing (100, 200) having an input (210), an output (220) and a housing body (100, 200 230). The housing body (100, 200 230) comprises a first channel (105) which may be provided with a ridge member (460), a bore (122) and a valve member (131). The valve member (131) is movable inside the bore (122) and is adapted to rest against a valve seat (140, 241) in a closed position and it may be adapted to rest against the ridge member (460) in an open position. A second fluid, from the environment, can enter through the bore (122) and continue into the fluid supply piping system (35, 72) when the valve member (131) is in the open position. The ridge member (460) may have a position and a size such that the reflux of the first fluid from the outfeed conduit (35, 72) is reduced while preserving the flow of the first fluid during normal condition when the valve member (131) is in the closed position. |
