<p>This vehicle (100) is provided with: a motor/generator (130) that generates running/driving force; and an ECU (300). When the change in the power requested by a user falls within a predetermined range, the ECU (300) executes driving force alteration driving that causes the vehicle (100) to run while switching the motor generator (130) between a first state (accelerating running), which causes the generation of driving force, and a second state (inertial running), for which the driving force is less than that of the first state. Also, the ECU (300) variably sets the time of the second state in the driving force alteration driving in accordance with the magnitude of the power requested by the user. As a result, the energy efficiency of the vehicle (100) is increased.</p> |
