<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inspection method for detecting a predetermined fault condition that exists or arises at a consumer's site. <P>SOLUTION: An inspection method includes steps of: measuring current of an active wire at a predetermined time; measuring each supply voltage of the active wire, a neutral wire and an earthing wire at a predetermined time; measuring the current of the active wire after a switching phenomenon; measuring each current of the active wire and the neutral wire at a predetermined time; measuring supply voltage across the active wire, the neutral wire and the earthing wire after the switching phenomenon, when a difference between the current measured at the predetermined time and the current measured after the switching phenomenon exceeds a predetermined standard; using the current measured at the predetermined time and the current measured after the switching phenomenon to determine loop impedance at a consumer's supply site; and using a value of the determined loop impedance to inspect each state of wires of an electric supply line and a return line at the consumer's supply site, which shows each state of the electric supply line and the return line. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
