<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform observation of a setting while reducing a load imposed on a network. <P>SOLUTION: An information processing apparatus includes: history acquiring means for acquiring operation history information that records an operation performed to an image forming apparatus and an operator from the image forming apparatus; analyzing means for analyzing operation history corresponding to a change in at least one setting to be an observation object from the acquired operation history information; setting acquiring means for acquiring, for at least one setting to be an observation object in which if the setting has been changed or not is unclear from the operation history, the details of the setting to be the observation object from the image forming apparatus to determine if the setting to be the observation object has been changed; determination means for determining if a plurality of settings to be observation objects have been changed from the operation history analyzed by the analyzing means and the details of the setting acquired by the setting acquisition means; and notification means for notifying the change in the setting determined to have been changed by the determination means. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
