Disclosed are a transflective color filter, a manufacturing method thereof and a liquid crystal display. The transflective color filter comprises a substrate (1) and colored resin layers (3, 4, 5) formed on the substrate. The color resin layers comprise transmittance portions (9) and reflective portions (10); grooves (6) formed on the substrate correspond to the transmittance portions, part of which occupy the grooves.
