An LED backlight drive circuit (10) includes a plurality of LED lamp strings (12) connected in parallel; a switch tube module comprising a switch tube; and a power supply module (11) and a switch control module (13). The switch control module (13) includes a driving unit (1303) connected with the switch tube; a current detecting unit (1312) connected with the switch tube; a turn-on time detecting unit(1311) connected with the driving unit (1303); a reference unit for outputting a reference value; multipliers, wherein two input ends of each multiplier are respectively connected with the turn-on time detecting unit (1311) and the current detecting unit (1312) and used for respectively obtaining the turn-on time value of a corresponding switch tube and a voltage signal reflecting the switch tube current; and comparison units, wherein two input ends of each comparison unit are respectively connected with the reference unit and the output end of a corresponding multiplier, and the output end of each comparison unit is connected with the driving unit (1303), and the driving unit (1303) is used for controlling the turn-on time of the switch tube corresponding to the comparison unit according to the output result of the comparison unit.
