PURPOSE: A remote video transmission system is provided to transmit a multi-channel video to a mobile communication terminal after scaling down the multi-channel video in accordance with a screen division, thereby reducing the size of data for transmission. CONSTITUTION: A remote video transmission system includes multiple cameras(10), a digital video recording unit(100), and a mobile communication terminal(20). The digital video recording unit processes videos which are captured by the multiple cameras according to the configured channels and stores the processed videos as a first original video in a local memory unit(140). The digital video recording unit, when receiving a request signal for transmission of a synthesized video, generates a synthesized video by scaling the first original video in accordance with the basic resolution which is lower than the resolution of the first original video and transmits the generated synthesized video to the mobile communication terminal.
