<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lighting device capable of obtaining illumination of a ring shape or a curved line shape as an illumination power source including an LED and moreover capable of being easily manufactured. <P>SOLUTION: The lighting device 10 includes an illumination light source 11. The illumination light source 11 is provided with an LED module 20 with at least one LED mounted on a substrate and a plate-shaped oblong light guide body 30 curved in a length direction. The light guide body 30 includes an incident face which is an end face in the length direction of the light guide body 30 and into which light emitted from the LED enters and an emission face (for example, a bottom face and a side face) which is a face extending in the length direction of the light guide body 30 and emits the light incident from the incident face. The light guide body 30 further includes a diffusion face which is the other face (for example, an upper face) extending in the length direction of the light guide body 30 and on which there is formed a diffusion pattern for diffusing the light incident from the incident face.
