<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a heat pump water heater capable of shortening a time for stabilizing high-pressure side refrigerant pressure and high-pressure side refrigerant temperature of a compressor to target values at a start-up initial stage. <P>SOLUTION: The heat pump water heater S characteristically includes a control part 50 in which a first target value of compressor discharge pressure is set and a second target value of the compressor discharge pressure is set to be higher than the first target value, at start-up, and which controls at least either of an opening of a pressure reducing valve 5 and rotation speed of the compressor 3 so that the compressor discharge pressure approaches the second target value, and when a predetermined release condition of the control is satisfied after start-up, controls at least either of the opening of the pressure reducing valve 5 and the rotation speed of the compressor 3 so that the compressor discharge pressure approaches the first target value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
