<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing liquid fuel, which simultaneously achieves cracking activity of a catalyst and a yield of a middle distillate in a high level and obtains the middle distillate with good low-temperature fluidity in a hydrocracking process of a paraffinic hydrocarbon. <P>SOLUTION: The method for producing liquid fuel is provided, which produces liquid fuel by hydrocracking of a paraffinic hydrocarbon, wherein in the presence of hydrogen, the paraffinic hydrocarbon is brought into contact with a catalyst which includes a carrier containing a crystalline aluminosilicate and an amorphous solid acid and at least one metal deposited on the carrier and selected from the metals in Group VIII of the Periodic Table, and which contains at least one element selected from phosphorus and boron. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
