PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To safely share confidential information by safely performing authentication with less communication data under a constraint of a limited resource in communication between a communication terminal and a relay device which relays communication data transmitted from the communication terminal.

SOLUTION: A relay device (base station device 20) comprises: an authentication control unit 205 for authenticating a communication terminal by using first identification information and second identification information; an identification information storage unit 203b for storing in association the first identification information and second identification information of the communication terminal which is authenticated by the authentication control unit; and a relay unit 206 which reads out from the identification information storage unit the second identification information associated with the first identification information that is used by the communication terminal for transmitting data, and relays the transmission data on the basis of the second identification information. The communication terminal comprises: an identification information storage unit for storing the first identification information assigned to its own device; and a transmission unit for transmitting data by using the first identification information, but without using the second identification information.
