<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an erroneous operation prevention device for an accelerator pedal which surely operates in response to an operation mistake of the accelerator pedal for a brake pedal, and is mechanically tough and easy to be restored. <P>SOLUTION: The device includes: a pair of holding arms 24 which hold lateral surfaces of the accelerator pedal 12; a holding spring 26 which holds the holding force of the holding arms 24; a guide frame 32 which surrounds outer surfaces of the holding arms 24 to regulate a reciprocation range; an accelerator wire 20 for opening and closing an accelerator by the reciprocation of the holding arms 24; a return spring 22 for adding an elastic force to restore the holding arms 24; guide claws 28 which collide with the holding arms 24 to extend the space between the holding arms 24 when the holding arms 24 are moved beyond an accelerator operation range; and an emergency brake pedal 14 which is pressed when the accelerator pedal 12 is released due to the extension of a space between the holding arms 24 by the accelerator pedal 12 moved to operate a brake. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
