BATTERY SYSTEM WITH CHARGE CONTROL FUNCTION, AND CHARGE SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform charge control in which a lithium ion battery can be used in a long period of time by preventing full charge and over discharge from being generated to suppress a progress of degradation.

SOLUTION: The battery system has a battery module and a charge/discharge control processing part. A calculation part of the charge/discharge control processing part has: an operation track record accumulation part for recording track records of charge/discharge and stop of the battery module in a storage part; a degradation level estimation part for checking size-voltage profile data for each manufacturing state and each degradation state of the battery module which are stored in the storage part, manufacturing inspection track record data and operation track record data of the battery module with one another to estimate a degradation level of the battery module; and a charge sequence calculation part for extracting charge enabled time and the maximum discharge size from the operation track record data and calculating charging current and termination voltage in a charge sequence on the basis of the size-voltage profile data in accordance with the degradation level. The control processing part performs charge control of the battery module in accordance with the termination voltage and the charging current.
