<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery structure which allows extraction of more electricity. <P>SOLUTION: A battery structure comprises: a tab 2 which is an end portion of an electrode plate group having positive and negative electrode plates and a separator; a backup lead 3 which is provided on the tab 2 and is electrically connected to the tab 2; and a lead 4 which is provided on an opposite surface side to the side of the tab 2 provided with the backup lead 3, and which is electrically connected to the tab 2.
