The method comprises: acquiring bandwidth reports collected from the optical network units (ONUs) in the previous allocation period; calculating the bandwidth allocated to all ONUs for the current allocation period according to the bandwidth reports, the start time of the bandwidth being the start point of the Nth allocation period after the current allocation period, and N being a natural number; transmitting the calculated bandwidth to the ONUs. The device comprises: a collection module, a calculation module, and a transmission module. The present invention calculates the bandwidth for the current allocation period according to the bandwidth reports collected from the previous allocation period, the start time of the bandwidth being the start point of the Nth allocation period after the current allocation period, and sets the start time of the bandwidth allocation and the start time of the Nth period the same, thereby eliminating the situation in which bandwidth reports overlap in different allocation periods, and enhancing the bandwidth utilization rate. |
