Provided are a wavelength resource coding and processing method and a node for a flexible grid optical network. The coding method includes: a parameter representing a wavelength resource which includes location information about a centre frequency in a spectrum, information about resource bandwidth size and grid capability information; the grid capability information represents whether the wavelength resource is a flexible grid or a fixed grid. By applying the solution in the present invention, by way of extending the wavelength label and introducing a new bandwidth object, the coding and processing method can be applied in a flexible grid network, and thus can realize flooding of flexible grid routing information in a wavelength switched optical network and allocation of spectrum resources in a signalling establishment LSP process from the view of the control plane. |
