[Problem] To provide a node device and a path switching control method for same, that are capable of facilitating network management, reducing load on a network, and achieving higher-speed path switching when a problem occurs. [Solution] A node device configuring a ring network stores: a transfer table (FDB) that associates a transfer data destination node device and the network address of said destination node device; and a management table (RDB) that associates the destination node device and port information used to transfer data to said destination node device. When changing the transfer data's transfer path to transfer path (602), said node device updates the association between the destination node device in the management table (RDB)and the port information in the management table (RDB), without changing the transfer table (FDB). |
