<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device that prevents a recording material from being stained with a test image to be formed between two images in process of continuous image formation, while improving productivity and density stability. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming device 100 includes control means 306 that controls operation of forming a toner test image in a region between continuous output images on an image carrier 40, during continuous image formation which continuously forms, on an intermediate transfer body 40, toner output images to be transferred on a recording material P. The control means 306 permits a test image to be formed in a region between output images so as to transfer a following output image passing through the transfer part N2 on the first surface of the recording material P, and prohibits the test image from being formed in the region between output images so as to transfer the following output image passing through the transfer part N2 on the second surface of the recording material P. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
