<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To sequentially input predetermined input signals to a control object, acquire output signals corresponding to the input signals from the control object, and accurately identify characteristics of the control object using the acquired output signals and the input signals. <P>SOLUTION: The identification device: generates input signals to be input to a control object using random numbers; inputs the generated input signals to the control object; acquires output signals output from the control object corresponding to the input signals; and identifies the characteristics of the control object using the acquired output signals and the input signals.
