<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently prevent breakage of a supporting mechanism of a lever 6100. <P>SOLUTION: By turning a lever 6100 by a supporting mechanism 6200 at predetermined reset timing, an upper limit tilt angle and a lower limit tilt angle in a movable range are detected by a tilt detection mechanism 600a, and the upper limit tilt angle and the lower limit tilt angle, as an upper limit value and a lower limit value, are stored in a memory unit. During execution of a game, when the lever 6100 is turned by an operation of a player, the tilt angle of the lever 6100 is detected. It is determined whether the tilt angle is within the movable range. When it exceeds the movable range, the upper limit tilt angle is updated by the tilt angle.
