摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a spherical carbon material which is an isotropic particle, excellent in crystal growth property and has a remarkable small shape change after carbonization and graphitization. <P>SOLUTION: There are provided a green-coke spherical carbon material whose average value of plan-wise and elevation-wise conglobation ratios of particles is 60% or more observed by a scanning electron microscope. This green-coke spherical carbon material has a shape retention of 70% or more after heating at 1,200&deg;C for 5 hours and at 2,800&deg;C for 3 hours; a method for manufacturing the green-coke spherical carbon material includes applying a compression-shearing stress to the green-coke powder containing 5% or more of particles having an average particle size of 1/3 or less of an average particle size (D 50) and then applying a spherical granulation procedure thereto in a dry method; a carbonaceous spherical carbon material produced by carbonization of the green-coke spherical carbon material and its manufacturing method; and a graphitic spherical carbon material obtained by graphitization of the green-coke spherical carbon material, and a manufacturing method therefor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT
