Provided is a print material storage body with which information can be recorded with a simple structure. A print material storage body to be attached to a print device is provided with: a first recording unit to record updatable first information relating to the print material storage body by a non-electronic method in a manner that is updatable and visually recognizable; and a second recording unit to record updatable second information relating to the print material storage body by a non-electronic method in a manner that is updatable, visually non-recognizable, and mechanically readable.
