<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a control valve type lead acid battery having little accumulation of lead sulfate and improved in low-temperature HR performance. <P>SOLUTION: In a control valve type lead acid battery, an electrode plate group including a separator interposed between a positive electrode plate and a negative electrode plate is housed in a battery case, and an electrolyte is held by the electrode plate group and the separator. The electrolyte has a density in a full charge state at 20°C of 1.32 g/cm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>or more and 1.36 g/cm<SP POS="POST">3</SP>or less, and contains aluminum ions of 0.02 mol/L or more and 0.3 mol/L or less and lithium ions of 0.02 mol/L or more and 0.3 mol/L or less. Accordingly, the control valve type lead acid battery has little accumulation of lead sulfate and is improved in low-temperature HR performance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
