<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a tar pan capable of preventing flotation and falling even in operation of a coke oven. <P>SOLUTION: A tar pan is mounted on a tar pan-receiving plate that comes with a coke oven for producing coke. A fixing angle 3 for fixing the tar pan 2 by making the tar pan 2 engage with a backstay 5 of the coke oven is attached to the tar pan 2.
