<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cmposition effective for prevention, retardation, reverse, or lessening of side effects related to alcohol consumption. <P>SOLUTION: The composition contains activated carbon, limestone or occasionally, activated limestone, and may contain occasionally other agents such as vitamin B1 and/or boredom alleviating drug. It is desirable that the composition is used in tablet form or geratin-capsulated powder form. The composition is in the amount preliminarily prepared to be about 100-500 mg per one dosage, which is a method for lowering or alleviating harmful effects ralated to alcohol consumption.
