<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus in which an image is formed on a recording medium, and the surface of the layer where the image is formed is covered by covering layers different in surface properties. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: an image forming part which writes the image with the ink in a first layer that is formed by supplying a first liquid that cures by giving a first stimulus, to a first moving body peripheral surface in layers, cures the first layer by giving the first stimulus, starts the transfer to the recording medium of the first layer before the curing is completed at the latest, fixes the first layer on this recording medium by this transfer; and a coating part that cures by giving a second stimulus to a second layer that is formed by supplying the second liquid that cures by giving the second stimulus in layers on the second moving body peripheral surface that has the peripheral surface different from the peripheral surface of the first moving body, starts the transfer above the first layer of the recording medium of the second layer, at the latest the completion of the curing, and coat the first layer by the second layer by this transfer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
