<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and inexpensive tourniquet which stops bleeding by gradually lowering the pressure in a balloon via a decompression device, while pressing a hemostasis part with the balloon. <P>SOLUTION: The tourniquet includes a balloon which presses a hemostasis part, a band body for fixing the balloon to the hemostasis part, and a decompression device 31 which communicates with the balloon and discharges a fluid pressed in the balloon to gradually reduce the pressure in the balloon. The decompression device 31 includes: a reception body 35; an elastic core 33 which is housed in the reception body 35 and has a through hole 39 formed for determining a flow rate of a fluid passing through the decompression device 31; and a cover body 37 which is screwed to and locked in the reception body 35 to compress the core 33. The through hole 39 is varied in size according to the fastening amount of the cover body 37, and adjusts the fastening amount of the cover body 37 to adjust the discharge flow rate of the fluid pressed into the balloon. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
