This technique pertains to a transmission apparatus, a transmission method, a receiving apparatus, a receiving method, and a program therefor that can reduce interference occurring in adjacent channels when concatenated transmission is executed. The transmission apparatus according to an aspect of this technique is provided with: a signal generation unit which generates a plurality of signals having a predetermined frequency bandwidth; a power adjustment unit which adjusts the power of each of the signals so that the power of a signal transmitted using a frequency band near an end of a channel becomes lower than the power of a signal transmitted using a frequency band near the center of the channel; and a transmission unit which performs a concatenated transmission of the power-adjusted signals using the channel. This technique can be applied to a transmission apparatus which executes concatenated transmission.
