This game server, which provides a second game after rankings of players have been determined on the basis of results of a first game in which a plurality of players have participated, is equipped with: an assignment unit for assigning mutually different first options from a plurality of first options for each of a predetermined number of upper-level players in the ranking of the first game; a lower-level player participation reception unit which receives participation to the second game by selection of any of the plurality of first options for lower-level players who are other than the predetermined number of upper-level players; a determination unit for determining any option which includes the plurality of first options; and a benefit imparting unit for imparting a benefit to a player who has selected the first option determined at the determination unit.
