Heading E1J A car window guide is formed of transverse pads 5, 6 of resilient material such as rubber, nylon, or the like, with strip metal inserts 7, having two projecting rounded sections 9 in contact with one side of the pane 1, and one section in contact with the other, arranged so as to aid in tilting the window 1 when it is opened or closed. The outer pad 6 has an integral sealing lip 13, which may be replaced with "Fur flex" (Registered Trade Mark). The pads are removably attached by U-shaped clips with pressed out claws bearing against the metallic flanges 14 forming parts of the door panels 3, 4.</p> |
