<p>The objective of the present invention is to provide a rotary internal combustion engine with which compressed air obtained from the outside is used and the compressor is not driven from the output shaft, thereby eliminating compression loss, which accounts for the largest energy loss in a conventional gas turbine internal combustion engine. A rotary internal combustion engine (1) is formed with combustors (10), a turbine (20), and a casing (40). The combustors (10) have an approximately spherical main body (10) equipped with an air injector (13), a fuel injector (11), and an ignition plug (12), and the combustor main bodies (10) are attached to the top of the casing with a prescribed angle. The turbine is formed with two turbines, a primary turbine (21) and a secondary turbine (22), which rotate in opposite directions, have separate respective output shafts (30, 31), and are formed having a specific shape. The casing is constructed so as to be divided into an upper and a lower part, and covers the two turbines (21, 22), and employs a structural means whereby the combustors (10) are mounted at a prescribed inclined angle.</p> |
