Sensory data is received wirelessly in a surveillance node of a second transmission line in a transmission node, the sensory data broadcast from a preceding surveillance node of a first transmission line in a preceding transmission node, and the sensory data intended for a subsequent surveillance node of the first transmission line in a subsequent transmission node. The subsequent surveillance node of the first transmission line is monitored to determine whether the subsequent surveillance node of the first transmission line forwards the received sensory data. In response to the subsequent surveillance node of the first transmission line failing to forward the received surveillance sensory data within a predetermined time period, the received sensory data is broadcast to a subsequent surveillance node of the second transmission line in another subsequent transmission node.
