PURPOSE: An automatic switching battery charger is provided to use a circuit which comprises a transistor and a resistance, thereby reducing manufacturing unit cost. CONSTITUTION: A first and second charging terminals(310,320) are connected to power terminals of a battery. A power supply unit supplies DC power to the battery. A switching unit(200) connects the positive polarity of the DC power to a positive charging terminal. The switching unit connects the negative polarity of the DC power to a negative charging terminal. An output voltage regulating unit transmits a control signal to the power supply unit.
