<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an active air flap device for a vehicle, configured to forcibly open an air flap when a failure occurs, while reducing the weight and costs. <P>SOLUTION: The active air flap device for vehicle includes: an air flap provided with a loader 22 which is rotatably disposed on a duct via a linkage and is joined to the linkage; a thermoelectric element 40 which is fixedly arranged on a housing 30 disposed on the duct; a heat-transmitting bar 60 which is disposed in the housing 30 such that one end of the heat-transmitting bar is connected to the thermoelectric element 40, and transmits heat when the thermoelectric element 40 is actuated; and a length-variable member 70 which is disposed so as to be connected to the loader 22 and the heat-transmitting bar 60, and provides a rotation force to the loader 22 while changing the length in accordance with a temperature change of the heat-transmitting bar 60. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
