<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a three-dimensional aerial image display with a volume scanning method applying real mirror image imaging optical systems, in particular, a distortion-free three-dimensional aerial image display. <P>SOLUTION: A volume scanning type three-dimensional aerial image display device X1 is constituted so as to comprise: a real mirror image imaging optical system 2A which can form a real image of an object to be projected as mirror image in a plane-symmetric position with respect to a geometric plane S1 to be a symmetric surface thereof; a display 3' which is arranged on an undersurface side of the symmetric surface S1 and comprises a display surface 31 for displaying image O as the object to be projected; and drive means 4 for operating the display 3' so as to perform motion including a component in a perpendicular direction with respect to the display surface 31. The display device changes the image O displayed on the display surface 31 in synchronization with an operation of the display 3' by the drive means 4, thereby forms the image O as three-dimensional aerial image P in space on a top surface side of the symmetric surface S1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
