<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid glaring with respect to a forward vehicle being at a corner in front of an own vehicle. <P>SOLUTION: A lighting control device of a vehicle headlamp includes: a position information detection unit for detecting position information of a target vehicle in chronological order, on the basis of an image obtained by capturing a forward image of the own vehicle; a position information storage unit for storing the position information detected by the position information detection unit in chronological order; a computing unit for computing at least one of relative angular velocity and angular acceleration between the own vehicle and the target vehicle, on the basis of the current and past position information stored in the position information storage unit; a shading range setting unit for setting a shading range so that the larger at least one of the angular velocity and the angular acceleration is, the larger a horizontal width is, on the basis of the current position information stored in the position information storage unit and the result computed by the computing unit; and a headlamp control unit for driving a headlamp on the basis of the shading range set by the shading range setting unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
