CONSTITUTION: A pharmaceutical composition for inducing relaxation or sleep comprises Aster glehni extract as an active ingredient. The extract is a leaf extract of Aster glehni. The extract is extracted with water, low quality alcohol of C1-C4, or a mixed solvent of the same. The extract is extracted with a mixed solvent of water and ethanol in a ratio of 6:4 to 8:2.
