<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illumination light source having excellent light distribution characteristics, and moreover, simple assemblability. <P>SOLUTION: In the illumination light source 1 including one or a plurality of light-emitting modules 10 as a light source housed in an external envelope 2 composed of a cylindrical case 60 having an opening on an upper side in an illumination direction and a globe 30 fitted to close the opening on an upper side of the case 60, all of the light-emitting modules 10 in the external envelope 2 are arranged in plane in a posture with a principal emitting direction upward, and at an upper side of the light-emitting module 10, there are arranged one or a plurality of optical members 80 for diffusing the emitted light so that the emitted light from the light-emitting modules 10 may reach an inner face 32 of the globe 30 in a maximum light intensity within a range of emission angles of 30° to 60°. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
