<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image which covers the entire range of the angle of the field of a new imaging apparatus on the basis of the image taken by an already installed imaging apparatus. <P>SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus comprises: imaging means for generating a taken image by taking an image of a subject; first angle-of-view acquisition means for acquiring a first angle of view not converted yet; second angle-of-view acquisition means for acquiring a second angle of view converted already; angle-of-view conversion means which calculates a difference in angle of view from the first angle of view and the second angle of view and converts the angle of view of the taken image to generate a converted image; and distribution means which distributes the second angle of view and the converted image. If the second angle of view is larger than the first angle of view, the taken image is reduced and provided with an external frame in accordance with the second angle of view.
