<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the brake mechanism of a walking auxiliary vehicle capable of running at a speed corresponding to the walking capacity of a user, capable of reducing the load applied to the foot or waist of the user to reduce the fatigue of the user during walking and capable of smoothly performing walking and running. <P>SOLUTION: The brake mechanism of the walking auxiliary vehicle 1 is constituted so that the base end part of the brake lever 12 arranged to the front side lower part of the handle lever 11 of a handle part 10 is pivotally mounted on the brake support part 14d fixed to the handle lever 11 of the handle part 10 in an up and down freely revolvable manner and the rotation of a rear side wheel 7 is braked by the brake member 9a of the brake mechanism 9 cooperated with the brake operation of the brake lever 12. A hook member 30, with which the free end side of the brake lever 12 is locked, is provided to the handle lever 11 and lever hooking parts 30c and 30d, with which the free end side of the brake lever 12 is locked, are provided to the hook member 30. Further, the position of a lever hooking member 31 is provided so as to be regulated to a plurality of positions set at a predetermined interval with respect to the longitudinal direction of the hook member 30. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
