<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide production planning reducing surplus stock of items including complementary products in manufacture of products including production of the complementary products in a production process. <P>SOLUTION: The production planning apparatus includes a unit for calculating a generation ratio of complementary products and production planning (production volumes by item and period) such that shipping volumes by product and shipping period are satisfied, the generation ratio of the complementary products is not less than the minimum value and not more than the maximum value of a generation ratio range, and the inventory of each item is minimized. The production planning of the complementary produces is made based on the shipping planning of the products to be produced from the complementary products, so as to improve the accuracy of the production planning and shorten the calculation time in the production. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
