SCRIBING WHEEL FOR BRITTLE MATERIAL, SCRIBING DEVICE OF BRITTLE MATERIAL SUBSTRATE USING THE SAME, AND SCRIBING TOOL

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scribing wheel for a brittle material having a constitution with strong quality (end face strength) of a cut face, having excellent catching performance, capable of internal cutting, and hardly generating intersection skipping.

SOLUTION: This scribing wheel has a peripheral edge part where a circumferential ridgeline 13 is formed by crossing bottom parts of two truncated cones having a rotating shaft in common, and a plurality of notches 15 and projections 16 formed alternately in the circumferential direction along the circumferential ridgeline 13. Each projection 16 is constituted of a part of the circumferential ridgeline 13 having a length b in the circumferential direction, which is a remainder after notching the circumferential ridgeline 13. Each notch 15 has a shorter length a in the circumferential direction than the length b in the circumferential direction of the projection 16, and has a pitch P having the length of ≥8 μm to ≤18 μm over the full circumference of the circumferential ridgeline 13.
