<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system that optimally transmits a file necessary for upgrading the version or the like of software to a monitoring device located far from a supervising place by radio communication in order to upgrade the version of software used by the monitoring device or the like for a wind power generation device. <P>SOLUTION: In a remote place maintenance system for a monitoring device (200) supervising and controlling a monitoring object, the monitoring object and the monitoring device are placed at a distant place from a supervising place where the remote place maintenance system is installed. The remote place maintenance system comprises: a supervising terminal (100) able to remote control the monitoring device; and a supervising side control device (110, 120) for storing information used by the monitoring device. The information is to set operation of the monitoring device.
