MESH FIXATION SYSTEM A mesh fixation system (200) is disclosed including a plurality of elongate members (20) and each elongate member (20) includes a plurality of longitudinally extending support members (22, 24). Each support member (22, 24) is connected to an adjacent support member (22, 24) by a plurality of connecting members (26) and the elongate member (20) defines at least one opening (28) extending therethrough between adjacent support members (22, 24) and adjacent connecting members (26). The mesh fixation system (200) further includes a plurality of legs (30) extending from each support member (22, 24). The plurality of legs (30) is adapted for insertion through a mesh (100) and into a body tissue (T) to secure the mesh (100) to the body tissue (T). |
