MANUFACTURING METHOD OF MAGNETIC HEAD SUSPENSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnetic head suspension in which a new function is given to a metal thin plate as base material other than a function as a spring.

SOLUTION: Laminated plates of three layers structure in which insulation layers and conductive layers are laminated successively on a metal thin plate having a spring property are prepared. A metal pad composed of the same metal layer as wiring is formed independently from the wiring. An aperture from a part of the metal pad to the metal thin plate through the insulation layer is provided. A conductive part by metal plating is provided at the aperture. Thereby, the metal pad and the metal thin plate are connected electrically. A desired part can be grounded by simple structure without adopting such complex constitution that specific wiring for grounding is provided separately in addition to a plurality of wiring for connecting a magnetic head and a control circuit substrate.
