MOBILE TERMINAL AND METHOD THEREOF FOR REMOTELY ACTIVATING CALL TRANSFER

Disclosed is a method for a mobile terminal to remotely activate call transfer. The method includes: a mobile terminal receiving a voice call transfer remote activation instruction or a short message call transfer remote activation instruction; decoding the received instruction and checking the validity thereof, if the check is qualified, then splitting out voice transfer destination number information or short message transfer destination number information; the mobile terminal notifying the network side of the voice transfer information constructed by the voice transfer destination number information, and the network side performing voice call transfer according to the call transfer information; or, the mobile terminal replacing the destination address of the currently received short message with the short message transfer destination number and then sending same to the network side, and the network side normally sending out the short message. Accordingly, also disclosed is a mobile terminal, which can rapidly and flexibly realize the call transfer function of remotely activating voice and short message services in the situation wherein a user forgets to carry his/her mobile terminal, which has good usability and simple operation, improving user experience.
