<p>A USB memory (2) is provided with: a first storage unit (211) for storing a primary loader that is read out on a priority basis to a boot memory area (141) of a RAM (14) in accordance with a BIOS boot of a terminal (1); a second storage unit (212) for receiving a data transfer instruction by the primary loader and storing prescribed control data, which includes an interrupt vector table and a secondary loader read out as partition control data sequentially partitioned into boot memory areas (141), and address data that is a write location of the partition control data; data transfer units (23, 23B) for transferring the partition control data to sequential boot memory areas (141) using an interrupt transfer; and a transfer-end processor (234) for receiving the end of an interrupt transfer and issuing a hardware interrupt. An external boot by the USB memory (2) inhibits malware activity.</p> |
