<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a jamb having a margin plate for improving mounting workability to an upper frame. <P>SOLUTION: The jamb of an elevator includes: a pair of lateral frames arranged at a landing entrance between a hoistway and a landing space while being away from each other; the upper frame 3 connecting an upper part between the pair of lateral frames and having a folded part which is folded in a C-shape projecting to a landing space side in a cross section; and a filling member 6 for filling an opening B at an end of the folded part near the lateral frame. The filling member 6 includes: a filling surface 6a for filling the opening B; and a mounting surface 6b which extends from the whole or part of an end of the filling surface 6a in a direction crossing to the filling surface 6a and is fixable to the folded part. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
