SIGNAL PROCESSING CIRCUIT FOR TOUCH SENSOR, AND TOUCH SENSOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a signal processing circuit for a touch sensor, the circuit which can be designed without being conscious of or giving consideration to arrangement positions of external connection terminals arranged on a touch panel.

SOLUTION: A signal processing circuit includes: a drive circuit 3 for supplying electric voltages to drive lines; a voltage detection circuit 4 for detecting an electric voltage on a detection line; a selection circuit 2 for selecting preselected lines from among X lines X1-X8 and Y lines Y1-Y8 as the drive lines to be connected to the drive circuit 3 on the basis of setting data concerning line selection and line connection that is predetermined according to an operation procedure for detecting a touch position of a touch panel 1, and selecting a preselected line from among the X lines X1-X8 and Y lines Y1-Y8 as the detection line to be connected to the voltage detection circuit 4 on the basis of the setting data; a memory 10 for storing the setting data; and a control circuit 8 for retrieving the setting data stored in the memory 10 and outputting the data to the selection circuit 2.
